Treble-chasing manager Simone Inzaghi is hellbent on signing a new contract at Inter Milan in the near future.

According to Il Giorno via FCInter1908, the 48-year-old will receive substantial financial backing from Oaktree Capital this summer.

Simone Inzaghi has been the architect of Inter’s return to prominence in the past four years.

Indeed, the ex-Lazio coach has built a rock-solid foundation at the San Siro, transforming the Nerazzurri into a continental force.

Therefore, Beppe Marotta and his associates are eager to reward Inzaghi with a new deal.

Inzaghi has another year-and-a-half left to run on his current contract at the San Siro.

However, it’s only a matter of time before he puts pen to paper on an improved deal.

It should tie him to Inter until 2027 with an option for another year.
