Inter Milan have reportedly set their sights on Cagliari goalkeeper Elia Caprile to replace the outgoing star Yann Sommer.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the San Siro giants are keen to sign the 24-year-old for four reasons.
Yann Sommer has proved a reliable choice between the sticks since joining the club from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023.
Despite moving to Serie A in the autumn of his career, the 36-year-old has excelled at San Siro.
However, he will likely leave Inter at the end of the season.

Sommer’s contract at Inter expires next summer, with the club reluctant to offer him fresh terms.
Therefore, Beppe Marotta is scouring the market for replacements.
Elia Caprile has emerged as a tangible target for the Nerazzurri despite swapping Napoli for Cagliari in the summer.
At 24, Caprile is at his peak power. Furthermore, he is an Italian, which could be significant with several domestic stars set to leave San Siro next summer.
Then, his price tag is well within Inter’s reach, with Cagliari slapping a €20 million price tag on their prized asset.
