Inter Milan could look to sign midfielder Nico Paz from Real Madrid with a similar formula to the deal for Achraf Hakimi.
This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews.
Inter are eyeing up a deal for 20-year-old Argentine international midfielder Paz.
Paz is currently at Como. He has shone in his first half a season in Serie A with the Lombard team.
Como bought Paz outright from Real Madrid over the summer. They paid a fee of €6 million to sign the Argentine from Real Madrid.
However, the Spanish champions still have a heavy amount of control over Paz’s future.
That is because, in addition to a 50% sell-on fee, Real also have a buyback option on Paz. They can re-sign the Argentine for a fee of €12 million, as early as next summer.
But as far as Real are concerned, Paz is not likely to be in their plans.
There is already plenty of competition in the attack midfield role at the Bernabeu. All of Jude Bellingham, Brahim Diaz, and Arda Guler can play there.
Therefore, Real would certainly be amenable to selling Paz, particularly if it means pocketing a significant profit.
Inter are ready to try and negotiate a similar deal to that which saw them sign Achraf Hakimi in 2020.
The Moroccan arrived from Real after a couple of seasons on loan with Borussia Dortmund.
As with Paz, Hakimi had been in a situation where he was not going to receive playing time in the Spanish capital. Therefore, Real were open to selling him.
