Report – Inter Milan Only Likely To Sign A Striker On One Condition | OneFootball

Inter Milan are only likely to sign a striker on one condition before the end of this summer transfer window.

Italian outlet FCInterNews report that the Nerazzurri will consider last minute opportunities, but would be content to stick with what they have.

At the moment, Inter have four strikers in their squad.

The Nerazzurri still have the likes of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram to rely on. Furthermore, they have signed Ange-Yoan Bonny and brought Francesco Pio Esposito into the first team squad.

Then, Inter have seven midfielders in their squad. Among these are players capable of playing in attacking midfield such as Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Davide Frattesi, and Piotr Zielinski.

Inter Milan Could Sign A Striker If There’s An Opportunity

Inter had also very publicly pursued Ademola Lookman. However, they were never willing to go beyond their offer worth €45 million in the face of Atalanta’s obvious unwillingness to sell.

Therefore, there had been numerous rumours that Inter would look for a different forward.

According to FCInterNews, it is possible that Inter could still make a last minute attacking move.

If there is an opportunity available at the right price point, and it is for a player Inter genuinely believe will improve their squad, they won’t hesitate to swoop.

But if no such opportunity presents itself, FCIN reports, Inter will not move.
