Inter Milan have reportedly set their sights on Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin as a potential replacement for Yann Sommer.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Ukrainian star remains a viable alternative to Guglielmo Vicario.
Despite proving a faithful servant over the past three years, Yann Sommer is on the verge of leaving San Siro.
Indeed, the runaway Serie A leaders have decided against renewing his expiring contract.
As a result, the 37-year-old is likely to wave goodbye to Italy in June, with Inter already working to replace the former Bayern Munich shot-stopper.
Guglielmo Vicario remains the leading candidate to replace Sommer.
Indeed, the former Empoli man is homesick and wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
However, Inter cannot open talks with Spurs yet, as they fight for Premier League survival and are eager to avoid all off-field distractions.
Meanwhile, Lunin could sever ties with Real Madrid at the end of the season after growing tired with his bit-part status at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Reduced to playing second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois, he could seek a way out in the summer, with Inter ready to offer him an escape route.
