Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan are reportedly contemplating a summer move for several high-profile Bundesliga stars.

According to L’Interista, the runaway Serie A leaders have set their sights on two Bayern Munich players.

Leon Goretzka has emerged as Inter’s top midfield target for the summer.

Indeed, the 31-year-old will sever ties with the Bavarians after eight years, having failed to earn a new contract.

Therefore, Beppe Marotta has identified the former Schalke man as a perfect cost-effective signing.

However, Inter would likely have to overcome stiff competition to land the German ace, with Arsenal, AC Milan, and Napoli also in the mix.

Since signing Goretzka could prove rather tricky, Inter have also set their sights on Borussia Dortmund playmaker Julian Brandt.

Like Goretzka, Brandt’s deal at Signal Iduna Park runs out in June, with no sign of a potential renewal on the horizon.

Signed from Bayer Leverkusen in 2019, Brandt has become one of the best advanced playmakers in the Bundesliga.

As such, he would be a major coup for the Nerazzurri.
