Inter Milan could ring the changes at right wingback this summer, with all three current options facing uncertain futures at San Siro.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri look set to revamp the right wingback role ahead of next season.
It’s no secret that Cristian Chivu is looking to overhaul his squad in the summer.
Moreover, the 45-year-old tactician is keen to switch Inter’s formation to a 3-4-2-1.
As such, Beppe Marotta is already surveying the market for suitable reinforcements.
Matteo Darmian’s exit is a near-certainty. Indeed, the veteran defender’s contract expires in June, with Inter unwilling to offer him a new deal.
Meanwhile, Denzel Dumfries could leave the club after five years.
A €25 million release clause comes into effect in July and should entice interest in the Dutchman.
Finally, Luis Henrique’s future at San Siro is hanging in the balance after a disappointing first season in Serie A.
Furthermore, the Brazilian winger has already drawn inquiries from Premier League side Bournemouth.
It’s worth noting that the Cherries were ready to offer around €25 million for the former Marseille ace in January.
