Report – Inter Milan Waiting For PSV Eindhoven’s Decision On Veteran Winger’s Future | OneFootball

Serie A giants Inter Milan have reportedly not given up on their pursuit of PSV Eindhoven winger Ivan Perisic. 

According to Sky Sport via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri are waiting for the Dutch side’s response with bated breath.

The San Siro giants have identified Ivan Perisic as a perfect short-term solution for their wingback problems.

However, they’ve been unable to convince PSV to let the 36-year-old return to Serie A despite agreeing terms with the player.

Peter Bosz’s side suffered an early UEFA Champions League elimination after a 2-1 home loss to Bayern Munich last night.

Without the incentive of European football, Perisic is no longer willing to stay at the Philips Stadion.

Instead, he has already informed Inter of his intention to return.

Meanwhile, Inter’s recent attempt to sign Al-Ittihad winger Moussa Diaby has not affected the club’s pursuit of Perisic.

Indeed, Cristian Chivu’s men still view the Croatian star as one of their top priorities.

However, time has become a factor, with the transfer window rapidly approaching its deadline.
