Report – Liverpool are ready to join Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Juventus in the race to sign Parma defender Giovanni Leoni.
This according to Italian outlet ParmaToday, via FCInterNews.
Teenage defender Giovanni Leoni has enjoyed something of a breakout season with Parma.
Leoni only signed for the Gialloblu last summer. The Emilian club paid a fee of around €7 million for his signature.
And that deal is already starting to look like a major bargain.
Reports suggest that Parma are now demanding a fee of at least €30 million if they are to sell Leoni this summer.
This off the back of an absolutely outstanding campaign. Particularly the second half of the season, in which Leoni was integral to Parma’s successful bid to stay in Serie A.

Inter Milan are by all accounts very keen on Leoni.
The Nerazzurri had already tried to sign the teenage defender last summer. However, they missed out to Parma.
And the fact that new Inter coach Cristian Chivu had worked with Leoni at Parma has certainly intensified the Nerazzurri’s interest in the 19-year-old.
It’s not just Inter, however. AC Milan are also determined to sign Leoni.
Meanwhile, Juventus reportedly also have an interest in the teenager’s signature.
Moreover, it is not only clubs in Serie A who are keeping tabs on Giovanni Leoni this summer. According to ParmaToday. Premier League champions Liverpool are also targeting the 19-year-old.
