“Then there’s a 16-year-old boy from our academy, Eduardo, who is about to play in the U-17 South American Championship for the national team, we’ve also received two offers for him between €20m and €25m, excluding bonuses. So, in my view, these two will really bolster our finances.”

Those figures underline both demand and restraint. Palmeiras have already rejected multiple bids, reinforcing their desire to maximise value, especially after recent high-profile sales.

Pathway Shaped by Previous Departures

The departures of Endrick and Estevao Willian have created a clear pathway for Conceicao to become the next headline export. Palmeiras have refined a model that blends development with strategic selling, and they appear intent on maintaining that trajectory.

Conceicao’s numbers offer a glimpse of his potential. Scoring 13 goals in 38 games for the Under 17s, despite being eligible for younger levels, suggests a player comfortable playing above his age group. It is this adaptability that has drawn Europe’s elite into the conversation.
