Nottingham Forest have not given up on their pursuit of Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi.

According to Matteo Moretto via FCInterNews, the Premier League side remain in the race for the Italian’s signature.

Inter had tried to convince the Tricky Trees to include Dan Ndoye as part of a high-profile swap deal.

However, Sean Dyche’s men have quickly turned down that idea, insisting they have no interest in parting ways with the Swiss winger.

Forest’s rejection has put talks on hold.

Despite an early setback, the English club could soon make a new attempt to lure Davide Frattesi to the City Ground.

Meanwhile, Inter’s stance on the former Sassuolo man remains uncertain.

Frattesi has failed to carve out a regular starting berth at San Siro.

Moreover, his influence has significantly dwindled since Cristian Chivu’s appointment last summer.

Therefore, the player could favor a move, but Forest would likely have to meet Inter’s €35 million asking price to get the deal over the line.
