Adhering to the customary tradition of every summer, Barcelona will soon release their kits for next season with vibrant designs that blend modern aesthetics with the club’s rich history.

Leaks of the home, away, and third kits have already been revealed to the public, but Barcelona have now at last set the official unveiling date and the subsequent availability in stores.

When are Barcelona expected to present the new kit?

According to SPORT, FC Barcelona has circled the upcoming Thursday, July 18, on its calendar as the official presentation date.

The design pays homage to the kit worn during the club’s centenary season and marks the beginning of celebrations for their 125th anniversary.

While some sports stores worldwide have started selling the new model, the club has yet to launch its official promotion channels.

The report adds that Gavi, Alejandro Balde, Aitana Bonmati, and Alexia Putellas have been nominated to feature prominently in the jersey’s official unveiling.

This choice underscores their importance to the team: Gavi and Balde represent La Masia in the first team, with confirmed contracts for next season.

Meanwhile, Alexia and Aitana, recent Ballon d’Or winners and integral to Spain’s World Cup victory, will continue leading Barcelona’s women’s team.

Talks with Nike

Earlier this year, Barcelona and Nike’s rift appeared to have reached a point of no return as the club demanded better terms for their agreement with the sports apparel company.

However, as per the report, a recent ruling from the Barcelona Provincial Court, which prevented Barça from unilaterally terminating the contract with Nike, has left the club in a challenging position.

The path forward involves finding common ground between the two parties, though Nike, buoyed by the court ruling, is not under pressure to rush into finalizing new financial terms.
