Tottenham are facing a familiar summer call over Richarlison, and this time the margin for error feels slim. With the Brazil international now in the final year of his contract, Spurs appear to be moving towards a decision point, one that could shape both their attacking depth and their wider squad planning.

According to Caught Offside, Juventus and Fenerbahçe are both tracking the forward’s situation, while Tottenham are “willing to negotiate for approximately €20 million to €25 million.” That valuation is significant. It suggests the club remain open to a sale while trying to avoid the scenario of carrying an unsettled asset closer to expiry and seeing his market value drop further.

Juventus interest grows around Richarlison transfer

The strongest route at present appears to be Turin. Juventus have “discussed Richarlison as an alternative to Kolo Muani, who remains their preferred attacking target.” That caveat matters. At this stage, the Italian side’s interest seems genuine, but conditional. If their pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani stalls, Richarlison becomes a more live option.

From Juventus’ perspective, there is logic in the profile. The report notes that “his ability to operate centrally or from the left would also provide valuable flexibility.” For clubs balancing budgets and squad needs, versatility carries weight, and so does experience at elite level.

Tottenham contract decision becomes urgent

Richarlison’s four years in north London have never fully settled into rhythm. Even so, he still managed 12 goals last season, a return that ensures there will be interest.

The issue for Tottenham is timing. The report states that the Brazilian is “no longer considered untouchable,” and that feels like the key line. Fenerbahçe are also in the picture, but the player is understood to favour “remaining in the Premier League or moving to another leading European competition.” That naturally strengthens Juventus. It also aligns with the background that Richarlison has “previously rejected lucrative Saudi Arabian interest,” placing sporting ambition ahead of pure finance.

Viewed coldly, this looks like a market opportunity Tottenham may need to take. For around €25 million, they could remove uncertainty, free salary space and reshape the attacking unit. For Juventus, it would be a controlled risk on a player who has pedigree, edge and something still to prove.

From a relaxed Spurs fan perspective, this feels like one of those situations where everyone probably knows the direction of travel. Richarlison has had his moments and you can never question the effort, which always matters with Tottenham supporters. When he plays, he cares. That comes across straight away.

Still, it has never quite clicked consistently enough. Injuries have interrupted him, the role has shifted around, and there has always been a sense that the explosive version of Richarlison seen before Spurs has only appeared in flashes. If Juventus come in around €25 million, it is probably sensible business.

That does not mean supporters would be delighted to see him go. There is a likeable edge to him, and he can change the mood of a match. But squad building is about timing as much as talent. If he is entering the last year and wants a fresh challenge, Tottenham should be practical.

The key, as always, is what happens next. Selling only works if Spurs replace well, with someone more available, more stable physically and better suited to the long-term attacking structure. If that happens, most fans would likely wish Richarlison well and move on without too much drama. It feels more like a natural parting than a painful one.
