Alexis Saelemaekers has seemingly found his stride at Roma, bagging two goals and one assist in the last three games, and interest is mounting ahead of the summer. According to a report, AC Milan will demand at least €15m for the winger.
Saelemaekers joined Roma on deadline day in the summer, with Tammy Abraham moving in the other direction, and he has seemingly found his stride. After a tough start to the season due to injury, he’s now producing points for the Giallorossi.
According to La Repubblica, as cited by Il Garante, there are several potential suitors for Saelemaekers and the price tag has increased since the summer. Milan will certainly set a new price tag after the season but for now, the base would be at least €15m.
It should be remembered that Bologna opted against redeeming the Belgian for around €15m, mainly because of the managerial change, and it seems this played in Milan’s favour. Regardless of whether they want to sign Abraham permanently or not, they will get money for Saelemaekers.
Given the struggles of Samuel Chukwueze, however, one can also question the decision to let him leave this season. The Nigerian could even depart the club in January, even if it’s more likely for Noah Okafor.
