Inter Milan will soon enter the 2025/26 Coppa Italia, looking to improve on last season’s semi-final exit.

According to FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri will face the winner of the last-16 tie between Venezia and Hellas Verona.

After winning the title in three consecutive seasons under Antonio Conte and Simone Inzaghi, Inter stuttered in the last two years.

Indeed, arch-rivals AC Milan got the better of Inzaghi’s side in a two-legged semi-final showdown.

Inter Milan are perennial contenders in this competition, ranking second all-time behind Juventus.

Together with Roma, the San Siro giants are among the only clubs to have lifted the trophy at least nine times.

Meanwhile, Juventus lead the way with 15, last ascending the throne in 2024.

Therefore, a new triumph would mark Inter’s historic 10th Coppa Italia crown.

It’s up to new boss Cristian Chivu to maintain Inzaghi’s legacy and guide Inter to further domestic glory.
