Revealed – Inter Milan Friendly Schedule For 2024-25 Preseason Including Al-Ittihad & Chelsea | OneFootball

Al-Ittihad and Chelsea will be among the teams Inter Milan face in friendlies this summer as part of their preseason.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. The newspaper reveal the Nerazzurri’s entire preseason friendly schedule.

Inter’s squad is currently working in preseason training.

It is a bit of a skeleton crew at the moment, as the majority of the Nerazzurri’s players are still on vacation after their exploits at the Euros and the Copa America.

But key players will be trickling back into training over the next three weeks.

Captain Lautaro Martinez and attacking midfielder Valentin Carboni will be the last three in August, having gone all the way at the Copa America with Argentina.

But in the meantime, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has been working with those players he does have at his disposal since Saturday.

And now, it will be time for the players to start building up some match-fitness in friendly clashes.

There had initially been plans for Inter to do a preseason tour of China. However, those were under previous owners Suning – Oaktree Capital have scrapped that idea.

Instead, Inter will play a few friendlies around Europe.

Al-Ittihad & Chelsea Among Preseason Opponents For Inter Milan

First, tomorrow Inter will face the team they traditionally come up against in their opening preseason friendly.

The Nerazzurri will take on Swiss side Lugano. And they will encounter a familiar face, in the form of Mattia Zanotti who has joined the Swiss Super League team.

Then, next Monday Inter will take on Pergolettese.

On the 27th of July in Cesena, Inter will face Spanish team Las Palmas in their third friendly of preseason.

Pisa will fall on August 2nd. Then on the seventh of August the Nerazzurri will take on Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihiad.

Inter’s final friendly of preseason, coming just a few days before the start of the Serie A campaign, will be against Premier League heavy hitters Chelsea.

The Nerazzurri will take on the Blues on August 11th.
