Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck could be back for the derby against AC Milan at the start of next month.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that the German will be out for 15-20 days after suffering a thigh strain.
Earlier today, medical tests confirmed that Bisseck has suffered a muscle strain.
The 24-year-old has picked up a strain to the adductor muscles in his left thigh.
Therefore, Bisseck will be on the sidelines while he recovers. He will miss a few matches.
Inter’s next two matches come against the likes of Venezia and Bologna in Serie A.
Then, more matches in the league and the Champions League follow.
Bisseck’s injury will take around 15-20 days to recover from, reports Sky.
And with Inter playing twice per week for the rest of January, that will mean that he will miss several matches.
Sky report that it would be optimistic to expect Bisseck back before the end of this month.
However, the German could be circling a particular date on his calendar for a return.
Inter’s first match of February is the second league derby of the season against AC Milan.
The Nerazzurri will certainly be hungry for revenge in that match after suffering defeats against the Rossoneri in both Serie A and the Supercoppa Italiana this season.
And there is a good chance that Bisseck will be able to return to fitness for the derby.
