Barcelona’s postponed home fixture against Osasuna will finally take place tonight, but both teams will be missing crucial players.

For Barcelona, Raphinha and Ronald Araujo will not be available, as the duo has only just returned from international duty. However, as reported by AS, the Catalan club is not the only ones dealing with key absences.

In fact, Osasuna will also be without two of their standout players, Bryan Zaragoza and Lucas Torro.

This match was originally scheduled for 8 March, but the sudden passing of Barcelona’s club doctor, Carles Minarro, led to its postponement.

Despite both teams expressing their dissatisfaction with the rescheduled date, their appeals were unsuccessful, and the fixture is set to go ahead today.

Osasuna are suffering too

For Osasuna manager Vicente Moreno, the absences of Zaragoza and Torro present a tactical headache.

Zaragoza sustained a muscle injury during Osasuna’s recent La Liga encounter with Getafe, while Torro is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow card in the same match.

Their absence will force Moreno to rethink his strategy, especially since replacing Zaragoza poses a challenge. Although his form has dipped slightly following his previous injury, his influence on the pitch remains significant.

There could be one of casualty

Osasuna could also be without another key figure, Enzo Boyomo. The Cameroonian defender played for his national team on Tuesday and embarked on a lengthy journey with multiple stopovers to return in time for the match.

While there is optimism that he will be available, Moreno must decide whether starting him after such a demanding trip is the right choice.

With both teams missing key players, the match could be more unpredictable than expected.
