According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Rob Edwards confirmed Sam Johnstone will miss Saturday’s trip to Leeds United at Elland Road. He said a late decision would be taken on Matt Doherty, who is pushing to be involved.

Yerson Mosquera begins a two-match suspension after collecting his 10th booking of the season during last weekend’s 4-0 defeat at West Ham.

Johnstone suffered a shoulder injury and Doherty picked up a knock, with neither in the squad for last Friday night’s match at West Ham. There had been reports Johnstone’s season may be over, while Edwards had been hopeful Doherty would be ready to face the Whites.

Paraguayan winger Enso González has not played for the first team this season, and has not featured at any level since a run of games for the under-21s ended in February because of a meniscus injury.

The problem required surgery and was initially thought to leave him facing around two months out.
