Gisela Robledo ended a long wait for a goal but Corinthians’ women fell 2-1 to São Paulo in their Paulista Feminino opener at Parque São Jorge. Emily Lima’s side fielded a mixed side and struck first in the early stages.
According to Meu Timao, Robledo’s contract with Corinthians runs until 31 August this year, so she is already eligible to sign a pre-contract elsewhere that would see her leave for free.
The Colombian forward scored after nine minutes with an individual effort, pouncing on a defensive lapse at the edge of the box before lifting the ball over Anna Bia into the top corner.
The strike snapped a sequence of 23 games without a goal, close to eight months. Her previous finish for the club came on 17 September 2025 in the Copa do Brasil last 16, a 3-0 win over Juventude, when she netted at 17 minutes of the second half after meeting a precise cross and finishing past the keeper.
Since arriving in 2024, the Colombia international has played 51 times, with 36 wins and six defeats. She has five goals and four assists, and featured in Libertadores triumphs in 2024 and 2025 and the Brasileiro title last year.
