Rodrigo Garro registered a third straight game with a goal involvement for Corinthians, scoring in Sunday’s 3-1 defeat to Botafogo in the 16th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

According to Meu Timao, it is his first such run since joining in early 2024, and the third of his professional career.

The current sequence began against São Paulo in the league, when he set up a goal in a 3-2 win. He then supplied another assist in the 1-0 Copa do Brasil victory over Barra. He then scored to make it three in a row.

Garro previously achieved the feat twice with Talleres. In 2022, across July and August, he produced two goals and two assists in matches against San Lorenzo, Vélez Sarsfield and Argentinos Juniors.

In 2023, he extended a second run to five consecutive games, again between July and August, recording two goals and three assists against Huracán twice, River Plate, Gimnasia La Plata and Newell's Old Boys.

Since Fernando Diniz took charge in early April, the midfielder has one goal and eight assists in 11 appearances, his best season start by goal involvements. Garro is available for Corinthians’ next outing, away to Peñarol on Thursday at 21:30 at the Campeón Del Siglo, the fifth round of the Copa Libertadores group stage.
