Roma remain very active in the final days of the transfer window.
One of the players most heavily linked with an exit from the Italian capital is Nicola Zalewski whose contract expire next year.
In order to avoid losing him in free agency next year, the Giallorossi are prioritizing his sale in the coming days.
According La Repubblica, in fact, at the moment the most concrete opportunity for Zalewski is represented by Napoli who have made inquiries for him.
The newspaper reports that Roma have intensified contacts with the Partenopei and discussions are taking regarding a swap deal involving Zalewski and Napoli winger Cyril Ngonge who has been excluded from Antonio Conte’s plans.
Ngonge would be a good profile for De Rossi as he can cover all roles in attack, writes the newspaper, including that of the left winger (despite his left foot). The operation is convenient for both parties, which is why the two clubs are optimistic about the deal.
