Roma involved in five-team race for Atletico’s Molina | OneFootball

The season is coming to an end and Roma are working in view of the summer transfer market to strengthen their squad.

The Giallorossi, according to Marca, in recent weeks have tested the waters for the Argentine right-back of Atletico Madrid Nahuel Molina.

Molina has already played in Italy, for Udinese from 2020 until 2020 and now has a contract that ties him to the Spanish club until 2028.

Despite a season in which he suffered a muscle injury in November, Molina enjoys the full confidence of Simeone and the Spanish club’s management.

Roma, however, are not the only team interested in the South American defender: there is also talk of Napoli and Juventus in Italy as well as Newcastle and Liverpool in England.

All have expressed their interest in knowing his availability to change clubs in the next transfer session.

A possible auction is expected in the summer: Atletico, for Molina, will not accept offers lower than 30 million euros.
