Roma linked with Fenerbahce fullback Mert Muldur | OneFootball

Following the sensational failure to renew Zeki Celik’s contract, who chose to sign with Juventus and leave the capital on a free transfer, Roma have reportedly begun evaluating a new player to strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s right flank.

According to reports from TuttoMercatoWeb.com, Roma are reportedly considering Mert Muldur, a Turkish winger currently playing for Fenerbahçe.

Muldur is already a familiar name in Serie A, having played for Sassuolo from 2019 to 2023, gaining experience in the Italian league before moving to Turkey.

Muldur, who holds an EU passport, could represent an interesting solution due to his versatility and knowledge of Italian football. The full-back can operate both on the right flank and, if necessary, on the opposite flank, a trait that could prove useful in Gasperini’s system.
