Roma have moved ahead of Benfica in the chase for Noah Saviolo after tabling a concrete offer. According to Glorioso 1904, the Serie A club now hold a significant advantage in talks for the Portugal under-21 winger. Benfica have been monitoring Saviolo as a potential reinforcement for next season.

The proposal is understood to include a fixed fee close to 10 million euros, with add-ons that could increase Vitória de Guimarães’ overall return.

Roma, coached by Gian Piero Gasperini, are also willing to include a percentage of any future sale, a clause that appeals to Vitória as the player continues to gain value on the international market.

Even with the Italian advance, the deal is not closed. Benfica remain attentive, but Roma’s strong move has changed the picture, putting the Serie A side in front and making them the most likely destination at this stage.

This season Saviolo, valued at 2 million euros, has made 35 appearances for Vitória de Guimarães. They include 29 in the league, three in the Taça de Portugal and three in the Taça da Liga, for 2,286 minutes, with two goals and five assists.
