Roma wing-back Wesley Franca is forced to withdraw from Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil squad after picking up an injury during the win over Fiorentina.
He was meant to be flying out today for international duty in the friendly matches against South Korea on October 10 and Japan on October 14.
With that in mind, Ancelotti is meeting the players directly in South Korea to avoid further complicated travel plans during this brief break in the club season.

Wesley had been among those called up, but Roma medical staff decided he was not fit to be part of the group due to a nasty bruise he sustained during the 2-1 win over Fiorentina.
Instead, he will remain in the Eternal City to undergo treatment and make a full recovery.
Inter defender Carlos Augusto is one of the few players already in South Korea to work with Ancelotti, as they won’t be able to have a full training session until Wednesday.
