Roma ‘to consider’ Sunderland winger Adingra as Brighton join Bardghji race | OneFootball

Roma are considering a surprise move for Sunderland winger Simon Adingra, according to VoceGialloRossa.

The Serie A side are assessing wide options and have Antonio Nusa of RB Leipzig as their priority, with interest also shown in Paris Saint-Germain prospect Ibrahim Mbaye. After missing out on Mason Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville, Nusa is said to top the list, though Adingra is admired by the Giallorossi.

Adingra joined Sunderland last summer from Brighton and Hove Albion, scoring one goal and providing one assist in 15 appearances in all competitions, before a loan to Monaco for the second half of the season. His future on Wearside remains uncertain and the report values the Ivory Coast winger at around £30m, which would represent about £9m profit if Roma meet the asking price.

Brighton have joined Sunderland and Leeds United in the race for Barcelona winger Roony Bardghji, Sport reports.

The 20-year-old arrived from FC Copenhagen last summer and delivered two goals and four assists in 28 outings. Only 10 of those were starts under Hansi Flick, and the arrivals of Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi may further limit his involvement.

The outlet adds that Barcelona could sanction a deal with a buyback option, while Bardghji is said to prefer a loan to prove himself before returning to Catalonia.
