Roma’s Matias Soule: Argentine’s agent discussing Giallorossi future | OneFootball

Serie A side Roma may have to sell players by the end of this month to stay within FFP parameters and this can lead to Matias Soule’s exit.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported in the evening that the Argentine could be approaching the last few days of his time at the Giallorossi. He is now amongst the expendable players at the club, with Roma having made concrete contact with his agent today.

In fact, Martin Guastadisegno was in Trigoria today and he discussed Soule’s future at Roma. It is believed he hasn’t developed as the club thought he would and Gian Piero Gasperini wouldn’t oppose his exit.

Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund are interested, with the Roman side looking at a valuation of €35 million to sell him in the summer.

Sale can bring in key signing

Roma have appeared keen on Crysenscio Summerville and Mason Greenwood and both of them could be upgrades on Soule. Even if the Argentine has obvious quality, he somehow seems a bit held back under Gasperini.

A move can unlock him and bring more out of his attacking abilities. Roma can use that to make a key attacking signing, who Gasperini can constantly rely on like he does on Donyell Malen.
