Roony Bardghji, once on Porto’s shortlist, says he is short of minutes at Barcelona but remains patient after moving from Copenhagen last summer. The 20-year-old is usually Lamine Yamal’s understudy.

"So far I have had little game time. I am patient but, honestly, I think I deserve to play more. I am not 100% happy, but this is football. I have the utmost respect for those who have been in the squad longer, they are my team-mates. I know what I can do. I have great confidence in myself," he told Sveriges Television.

He has two goals and four assists in 21 appearances for Barcelona, with seven starts and 615 minutes.

"It has always been my dream to play for Barça. When I won my first trophy, it was fantastic, it was a great feeling." That first trophy was the Spanish Super Cup.

He remains intent on convincing coach Hansi Flick to give him more minutes.
