Roony Bardghji set for long-awaited Barcelona debut against Valencia | OneFootball

Roony Bardghji was one of the few signings that FC Barcelona brought to their team in the last summer transfer window, but as things stand, he is yet to make his official debut with the Blaugranes, having only played in the Joan Gamper Trophy up to now.

However, as Mundo Deportivo has noted, the Swede could get his chance to make his official debut tonight, especially as Lamine Yamal is unavailable due to an injury he picked up during the international break.

The Swede had missed the first three games of the season because he was not registered with the team due to a lack of salary margin, but he got the green light from La Liga to allow him a license to play as a reserve team player.

Although he has not played an official match with his new team yet, his performance in general has been highly encouraging. He impressed in the preseason tour of Asia with Barcelona, and also in some of his games with Barcelona Atletic and his Swedish U-21 team.

Hopefully, Roony Bardghji will take the chance tonight with both hands, and will be able to impress Hansi Flick to get a prominent role in the Barcelona squad this season.
