With the start of the 2025-26 Roshn Saudi League now days away, the quest for glory for RSL Fantasy managers begins, and with it, comes a multitude of decisions to make.

To help you choose the ideal line-up and increase your chances of winning weekly prizes – and, hey, maybe even the grand prize at the conclusion of the campaign – we present a series of Fantasy tips.

Starting us off, of course, are five goalkeeper picks.

--------

Koen Casteels – Al-Qadsiah (5.5 million)

Who else to kick things off but with the top goalkeeper of last season. Belgian Casteels collected 184 points in the 2024-25 RSL Fantasy, taking home the league’s season award for Best Goalkeeper.

With Al Qadsiah now in their second season back in the top flight, and having added more defensive experience with the likes of Saudi great Yasser Al Shahrani, Casteels' chances of remaining the league’s lead stopper appear greater than ever.

--------

Yassine Bono – Al Hilal (5m)

Despite the period of instability that Al Hilal experienced last season, Moroccan goalkeeper Bono maintained his place among the top goalkeepers in RSL Fantasy, accumulating 124 points.

This campaign, Al Hilal appear more resolute at the back, with new manager Simone Inzaghi shifting to a three-man central defence, providing their elite goalkeeper with more protection.

--------

Edouard Mendy – Al Ahli (5.5m)

The Al Ahli goalkeeper continues to improve year on year, statistically.

After keeping 10 clean sheets in the 2023-24 RSL, the hugely decorated Senegalese increased his tally to 12 last term, amassing 160 points.

As proven once again in their weekend Saudi Super Cup success, Mendy makes up an incredible robust defensive triangle behind centre-backs Roger Ibanez and Merih Demiral.

--------

Milan Borjan – Al Riyadh (4.5m)

The best option in terms of financial value and the highest-points-earned-per-million-SAR is the veteran Al Riyadh goalkeeper.

Last season, the Canadian was the only stopper below the SAR 5m price mark to come home in the top five of RSL Fantasy, achieving 173 points - a tally surpassed only by Casteels.

--------

Marcin Bulka – NEOM SC (5.0m)

We may not have enough RSL Fantasy information to judge the new arrival, but the Polish goalkeeper appears to be an interesting option after joining newly promoted NEOM SC from Nice. Bulka has kept 26 clean sheets in 74 Ligue 1 appearances across two seasons.

Having a squad packed with stars across the board, including 2023-24 RSL-winning defender Ahmed Hegazi and distinguished defensive midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure, it may make it difficult for competitors to even reach Bulka's goal.
