Rui Costa has set a €9-10m price for Rafael Obrador, with Besiktas among the clubs exploring a deal, according to Glorioso 1904.
The Spanish full-back faces an uncertain summer, though he is still due to report to Seixal for the start of pre-season under Marco Silva.
Interest has grown abroad, with Besiktas joining Torino, but, for now, neither club is prepared to meet Benfica’s terms.
Benfica’s stance remains that Obrador would leave only for €9-10m, either in a permanent sale or a loan with an obligation to buy.
Torino are attempting to renegotiate the fee, while Besiktas offer greater financial power and European exposure, which could appeal to the player. Besiktas also have Kassoum Ouattara under consideration as an alternative.
Obrador made 17 appearances in Italy last season, scoring one and providing three assists. His future remains open as Benfica weigh retaining him or sanctioning a sale.
