"I believe at this moment in time, he could be the best manager in all the football leagues and even in the Premier League. He's done amazing."
Mickey Thomas said on the Joy Of Football podcast after watching Wrexham's FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest from the owners' box alongside co-owner Ryan Reynolds.
"I spoke to him after the Nottingham Forest game in the office. I said to him that it's incredible what he's done, but he's a very ruthless man."
"Fair dos to Rob and Ryan, they don't get involved with him or whatever he wants to do on team affairs or selection. It's clear that he is solely the manager inside that football club, which is the way it should be."
Since taking charge in July 2021, Phil Parkinson has led Wrexham to three promotions and a first Championship campaign in 43 years. They are ninth, one point off the play-offs, after four straight league wins.
Parkinson has taken charge of 251 Wrexham games, winning 147, drawing 60 and losing 44, a 58.6 per cent win rate. He reached 1,000 matches as a manager last year. Norwich City visit north Wales on Saturday.
