Ryunosuke Sato marked his Valencia debut against Eldense with a superb volley, then influenced the second goal.

In the 14th minute he slipped Sadiq through with a fine pass and the finish found the net, but the flag ruled it out for offside. According to Superdeporte, the winger left a strong impression on his first outing.

In the 23rd minute he struck. Receiving a pass from Dani Raba on the edge, he cushioned the ball on his left then, without letting it drop, thumped a volley into the top corner to open the scoring.

Sato started on the left but drifted inside, leaving the flank for Jesús Vázquez. He was central to the second goal, carrying the ball on his right foot, skipping past defenders and, after an attempted pass that came back off the post, Jesús Vázquez made it 2-0.

He combined well with the midfield and with Dani Raba in advanced areas, while his pressing and defensive work were evident. These were his first 45 minutes in a Valencia shirt, a promising introduction from Japanese football, and he will need a period of adaptation to the Spanish league.
