Sancet still doubtful for Roma showdown

Athletic Bilbao continue to prepare for the second leg of the Europa League round of 16 against Roma, scheduled for Thursday at 18:45.

According to radio station Onda Vasca Deportes Bizkaia, Sancet has continued to train separately, while Vivian continues to recover from his injury.

Yeray Álvarez also did not take part in the group session.

To compensate for the absences, coach Ernesto Valverde has brought in several young players from the subsidiary team, including Gerenabarrena, Rego, Duñabeitia, Olabarrieta, Aguilar, Ebro, Izaguirre and Johaneko.

These youth team players have been taking part in the training session of the Athletic Bilbao first team.
