Santos hire another assistant coach to work with Cuca | OneFootball

Santos have appointed Eudes Pedro as another assistant coach on Cuca's staff, according to Diario Do Peixe.

He is expected to report for the squad's return on the afternoon of Wednesday 25 at CT Rei Pelé.

Cuca arrived with assistant Cuquinha and fitness coach Omar Feitosa. Within the club, Cesar Sampaio serves as an in-house assistant.

The football department has also moved Vinicius Marques, formerly the under-20s coach, into an assistant role, leaving the backroom team almost complete.

Eudes, from Recife in Pernambuco, turns 60 in July, is a Physical Education graduate and holds the CBF Pro licence. He began as a fitness coach at Santa Cruz and Athletico-PR, then became an assistant at São Caetano and worked at Coritiba. His first spell with Cuca came in 2005 at São Caetano, and they later worked together at Santos, Palmeiras, Botafogo and Atlético-MG.

He later worked at Fluminense, Flamengo, Cruzeiro and Shandong Taishan in China. He has managed Remo and Perilima, then returned to assistant duties with Tombense, CRB, Remo and EC Recife. He has also coached Resende and Vitória de Santo Antão.
