Santos record against Dorival Jr ahead of Corinthians clash | OneFootball

Santos hold a middling record against coach Dorival Jr, with 30 meetings yielding 12 wins, eight draws and 10 defeats, a 48% return.

The sides meet again on Sunday 15, kick-off 16:00, at Vila Belmiro, as Corinthians visit in the sixth round of the Brasileirão.

Dorival has beaten Santos while in charge of Figueirense, São Caetano, Coritiba, São Paulo, Flamengo and Corinthians, including one victory with Figueirense and São Caetano, two with Coritiba and São Paulo, and three with Flamengo.

He has also overseen draws against Santos with Atlético-MG, Internacional, Vasco, Ceará, São Paulo and Corinthians, with three of those shared results coming during his Internacional tenure.

Santos’ wins over teams led by Dorival have come when he was at Figueirense, São Caetano, Cruzeiro, Atlético-MG, Internacional, Flamengo, Fluminense, Palmeiras, São Paulo and Athletico-PR. They also beat his Corinthians in 2025, a match in which the visitors were directed by his son, Lucas Silvestre.

The head-to-head stretches back to 2004 and includes results across the Paulista, Libertadores and the league, most recently a 1-1 draw with Corinthians in 2026.
