Saravia joins Valencia as a free agent, admits he had other offers

Renzo Saravia has joined Valencia on a contract until the end of the season. According to O Jogo, the 32-year-old right-back arrived as a free agent after his spell at Atlético Mineiro.

The Argentine also represented Botafogo and Internacional in Brazil. He previously had a short stint with Porto, featuring in six matches and scoring once.

Saravia said he was happy and highly motivated by the opportunity. He added that he had other attractive offers but did not hesitate when Valencia came in, calling it a very important chance for him.

He described himself as aggressive, eager to be a protagonist and with a winning mentality. He hopes to help the club.

Capped nine times by Argentina, he began at Belgrano and impressed at Racing.
