Reports in Germany suggest it is increasingly unlikely Wolves striker Sasa Kaladzjic leaves this summer. The forward, 29 next week, has a year left on his deal with an extra 12 months option.

He has spent two loans away, including last season at LASK in Austria. Signed for £15 million from Stuttgart in 2022, the injury-hit front man was a high Premier League earner and, despite a relegation pay cut, any move would mean a significant wage drop. New head coach Cesar Peixoto could want to assess him in pre-season.

Wolves defender Ladislav Krejci has again been linked with Leeds. The 27-year-old completed a £26 million permanent switch this summer after an impressive loan, and Premier League clubs are still monitoring him.

Leeds are seeking cover for Pascal Struijk, who is joining Brighton, and reportedly view Krejci as an option alongside free agent Danilho Doekhi and Borussia Monchengladbach’s Nico Elvedi.

June 30 is when out-of-contract players’ terms expire, with free-agent status from Tuesday. At Albion, attackers Karlan Grant and Josh Maja are set to leave as things stand. In May, Maja was offered a new deal and there was dialogue with Grant, with both assessing options after six and three years respectively.
