Saudi clubs ‘willing to invest large sums’ for Barcelona star | OneFootball

A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is on the transfer radar of a number of leading clubs in Saudi Arabia.

That’s according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, who point towards Fermín López as the player in question.

Youngster Fermín is of course fresh off a summer which saw his name dominate the headlines across the continent.

This came after the 22-year-old was the subject of widespread transfer interest, particularly by way of the Premier League.

In the end, Fermín stayed put in Catalunya’s capital, after Barcelona’s financial demands to sanction a sale were not met.

But as alluded to above, if the latest word doing the rounds online this weekend is anything to go by, then the Blaugrana could soon be tempted by big money once more…

As per a report from Fichajes:

‘The Saudi Arabian league is keeping its transfer market open, and several teams in the country have their eyes on the young Spanish midfielder, willing to invest very large sums for his signature.’
