John Victor retains his place in goal for Nottingham Forest at Fulham, with Sean Dyche opting against recalling first-choice keeper Matz Sels.

Before kick-off, Dyche explained his thinking. "John has done really well in the two games, to be fair. Matz has only had four days of training," he told Sky Sports.

"He had a bad finger he was playing through and a groin (problem) so we have had to be careful with that. But John has earned the right for this one, that's for sure, with two very strong performances."

Sels missed the last two matches with a groin injury. John Victor started the Europa League win at Utrecht and the Premier League victory over Tottenham Hotspur. Forest won 2-1 in the Netherlands, then beat Spurs 3-0 at the City Ground as he kept a clean sheet.

Sels did not feature in either match but has travelled to the capital city for the Craven Cottage clash and is among the substitutes.

Dyche has made one change from the Spurs game. Douglas Luiz replaces Ibrahim Sangare, who is on Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) duty. The back line is Nicolo Savona, Nikola Milenkovic, Murillo and Neco Williams, with Luiz alongside England's Elliot Anderson in midfield.
