The left-back repaid Carsley’s faith by delivering an excellent performance.

Hall was unflustered on his first start, showing composure on the ball and making no notable mistakes.

He had an incredible 101 touches in the match and completed 75 of his 81 passes.

The England international completed all of his long balls and won five of his ten ground duels.

He also registered two tackles, an interception and a clearance, but he lost the ball on 13 occasions.

Hall has gone from strength to strength since joining Newcastle from Chelsea.

He had to be patient during his debut season, but he has established himself as a regular starter this season.

The left-back has featured in 11 Premier League matches in 2024-25, with an assist to his name.
