In-form Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic still plans to leave the Bianconeri but, with Inter Milan keen, can the Nerazzurri afford the Serbian?

Vlahovic attracted strong interest away from Juventus in the summer.

However, the player’s wage demands discouraged potential suitors and Vlahovic remained in Juventus.

As has been noted by FcInter1908, Vlahovic currently earns €12 million per season at Juventus.

This is more than any other player in Serie A, including Inter star Lautaro Martinez, who earns €9 million per season.

The reports note that if Vlahovic wanted to join Inter, he would have to take a significant pay cut.

The Nerazzurri’s other top earners are Nicolo Barella (€6.5 million), Hakan Calhanoglu (€6.5 million) and Thuram (€6 million).

Therefore, Vlahovic’s wage would have to fall in line.

Additionally, even if Inter manage to sign Vlahovic on a free transfer, they will still face other costs.

Agent fees, signing bonuses and additional incentives all contribute to the total cost.

To conclude, Inter must carefully evaluate all of these factors before making a move for Vlahovic.

And if the player wishes to join the Nerazzurri, he must also make concessions on his part.

Vlahovic is in fine form this season, with four goals in four games in all competitions.

On Tuesday, the Serbian came on as a substitute to score twice and assist one as Juventus fought back to draw 4-4 with Dortmund.

This adds to his two goals in three Serie A games this season.
