Tonight’s game involves six players who have been included on Gennaro Gattuso’s Italy national team squad for this month’s World Cup play-off campaign: Elia Caprile, Marco Palestra, Alessandro Buongiorno and Matteo Politano, plus Alex Meret and Leonardo Spinazzola, who start on Napoli’s bench.
Antonio Conte is also, finally, able to name Stanislav Lobotka, Scott McTominay and Kevin De Bruyne in the same starting line-up for the first time in months. Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa is also fit, but is named among the substitutes as Billy Gilmour keeps his place in the side.
