Manchester United will clash heads with Everton at Goodison Park this Monday night as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Red Devils managed to earn a hard-fought 1-1 draw away at West Ham United, so they would be eager to get back to winning ways in the league.

Michael Carrick will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make one change to his first team for this game. Benjamin Sesko will lead the charge for the Mancunian giants up top.

Defence

Senne Lammens will feature in between the sticks for the Red Devils after he conceded one goal in his last outing. Harry Maguire will function alongside Lisandro Martinez at the heart of the Man United backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.

Diogo Dalot will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Luke Shaw looks to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Ayden Heaven will offer cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.

Midfield

Kobbie Mainoo and Casemiro will operate as the holding midfielders as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.

The gifted trio of Bryan Mbeumo, Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo will play just ahead of them as part of Carrick’s attack. All three of them need to be at the top of their game if the Red Devils are to secure a positive result this Monday night.

Matheus Cunha, Manuel Ugarte and Tyler Fletcher will be named on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Benjamin Sesko will lead the line for the Red Devils in the final third. He would be eager to be a real threat in front of the Everton goal.

Joshua Zirkzee will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if required.
