Sevilla are exploring a move for Giorgi Kochorashvili after Getafe’s proposed deal with Sporting CP stalled. A Bola reports that the Andalusians have already made initial contact.
Record had indicated the midfielder was set to return to LaLiga with Getafe on loan with an option to buy. A Bola adds that talks hit an impasse because Getafe preferred a non-binding clause while Sporting sought an obligation to purchase.
Sevilla have sounded out the terms of a potential switch to the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. Following the sale of Akor Adams to Venezia FC, the club could fund an offer not exceeding five million euros, which could be enough to persuade the Lisbon side.
Kochorashvili came through at Saburtalo before spells with Girona and Peralada, then joined Levante in 2019. He had a loan at Castellón, broke into Levante’s first team and was influential in their 2024-2025 promotion.
His form earned a move to Sporting CP in summer 2025 for around five and a half million euros, although his minutes in Portugal have been limited. A high-energy box-to-box midfielder, he mixes defensive recovery with driving runs, late arrivals and aerial ability.
