What a goalkeeper Shay Given was.
The best we have ever seen at Newcastle United, in my opinion.
On Saturday, Shay Given showing once again which team he supports.
Having carved out a career as a pundit, along with the likes of Alan Shearer and Lynsey Hipgrave, Newcastle United and their fans having some decent representation.
On Saturday, Shay Given was on BBC’s Football Focus and couldn’t contain himself.
Football Focus presenter Kelly Somers declaring during the programme:
“I’m just going to let you in on a little secret.
“It has been a bit chaotic in the studio.
“Shay Given has just broken part of the set.
“Why have you broken part of the set?”
Shay Given:
“I just kicked the table by mistake, so I apologise.”
Kelly Somers:
“Yes, but why did you do that?”
Shay Given:
“Because Isak has just scored against Arsenal.
“A brilliant cross from Anthony Gordon, Isak header, top corner, 1-0 to the Toon!”
