Sheffield Wednesday rally as Otegbayo equalises to extend unbeaten run | OneFootball

Sheffield Wednesday drew 1-1 with Charlton Athletic at Hillsborough, extending their unbeaten run to three matches and nudging Charlton down to 19th in the Championship.

Matt Godden finished from close range in the 49th minute after Lloyd Jones' headed pass.

Sonny Carey then struck the left post (60.). Pierce Charles denied Godden with a low save (71.).

Defender Gabriel Otegbayo levelled for The Owls (76.), sweeping in after Jamal Lowe's cut-back.

Will Mannion preserved a point for Charlton in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time, tipping Max Lowe's header away. Collins Sichenje headed wide in the seventh minute of second half stoppage time.

The Owls controlled the ball with 66.9% possession and forced seven corners. Charlton registered 12 attempts and hit the woodwork twice.
