Sidny Cabral’s Benfica future is under review, with a summer departure possible. According to Glorioso 1904, no official decision has been made.

The 23-year-old arrived in January to bolster the attack and was tipped to start, yet he has not fully convinced. Adaptation has proved tougher than expected.

The winger has slipped down the pecking order in recent weeks. Direct competition and José Mourinho’s selections have put his place at risk, and if nothing changes he may not remain in 2026/27.

Benfica are in no rush, and the summer will be used to judge whether Cabral can establish himself or he could be loaned.

In 2025/26, he has 11 appearances for Benfica, seven in Liga Portugal Betclic, two in the Champions League, one in the Taça de Portugal and one in the Taça da Liga. He has one goal and three assists, and is valued at 2 million euros.
