AC Milan will take on Bologna in the Coppa Italia final at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Wednesday night, hoping for their second trophy of the season.

The Rossoneri and the Rossoblu faced each other on Friday in Serie A, a game that Milan came from behind to win, scoring three times in the last 18 minutes to secure a 3-1 victory and severely dent Bologna’s hopes of a top four finish. However, a final is a totally separate event.

The good news on the injury front is that Warren Bondo and Riccardo Sottil have travelled with the team which strongly implies there is a chance that both end up making the bench. Rafael Leao served a suspension on Friday and returns.

There is, however, a doubt: Sergio Conceicao admitted in his press conference that Youssouf Fofana – who missed the league game – has a particular foot problem which means his presence is not yet certain.

Peppe Di Stefano, live on Sky (via MilanNews), has shared the information he has. Firstly, regarding the big doubt: Luka Jovic is currently favoured over Santiago Gimenez to start up front. Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao will flank him.

The journalist stated that Fofana did training with the squad and therefore will partner Tijjani Reijnders in midfield. The Tomori-Gabbia-Pavlovic three-man defence remains, with Alex Jimenez and Theo Hernandez wing-backs, and Mike Maignan in goal.

Predicted Milan XI (3-4-2-1): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Jimenez, Fofana, Reijnders, Theo; Pulisic, Leao; Jovic.
